Jackson was born and raised in Sitka. Having lived here his entire life, he understands and appreciates the unique environment of Alaska. Jackson’s passion for flying originated from his father, who was also a pilot. Jackson went to flight school in Washington, and earned his Commercial Pilot license. He taught as a Certified Flight Instructor for one year in Washington, until he was drawn back to the beauty of southeast Alaska. Throughout his career, flying float planes has become his passion.
